Meet Lyle Cox

For Lyle Cox, building homes has always been more than a profession; it’s a family tradition. Raised by a builder, he grew up watching his father turn architectural plans into homes where families could build their lives. Today, Lyle carries that experience forward, building custom homes and move-in-ready spec homes throughout Waynesville, Rolla, Springfield, Lake of the Ozarks and the surrounding communities of southwest Missouri.

A graduate of Robert Morris University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Lyle combines his background in business with a practical understanding of construction, real estate, and the homebuilding process. His experience as a realtor and familiarity with local subdivisions help him guide buyers through the early stages of building, from finding the right homesite to connecting with trusted architects, lenders, and other professionals.

Lyle and his wife, a fellow veteran, call Waynesville home, where they are raising their three sons and daughter. With Fort Leonard Wood being the heart of their community, supporting the military is especially meaningful to the Cox family. Lyle takes pride in being part of a community shaped by service, hard work, and strong family values, and he understands the importance of creating homes where military families and local residents alike can put down roots.

At the heart of Lyle’s work is a straightforward approach: build quality homes, maintain high standards, and treat each project with the care and attention it deserves. For him, being a builder means contributing to the community he calls home, one house at a time.
